As FOF’s work on behalf of the proposed Spokane whitewater park continues, so does progress for permitting the feature. On May 13, the City of Spokane completed its application for a Hearing Examiner Shoreline Conditional Use Permit and an Administrative Floodplain Development Permit. This triggered the customary 30-day public comment period, which began on May 27 and will close on June 26, 2009.
